EP04: Infant Ingenuity: Infant Anatomy & Physiology

Newborn babies have unique features that dovetail with breasts to support the establishment of breastfeeding.

The uniqueness of the baby's oral anatomy and reflexes are well suited to breastfeeding. The structure and function of the infant's face and mouth play an integral role in breastfeeding. This course delves into the infant's role in educating the breast to produce milk.
